2018 marks the 20th anniversary of Idaho’s first charter schools. This report details their rich history and accomplishments, but also reveals that in 20 years, continued modification of Idaho’s charter law has led it far from its original intent of allowing significant space for education innovation.

These seven recommendations are the result of three years of ED Sessions events that featured the nation’s best and brightest thought leaders in the education and innovation space.
