Each year, an estimated 200,000 men and women leave the military and transition to civilian life. To create better opportunities for military and military spouses to excel in Idaho, the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation created Mission43. Introduced in 2016, Mission43 is a military veteran support initiative providing currently serving military members, former military, and military spouses in Idaho, the 43rd State, the resources for a successful transition after leaving the military.
As the education pillar partner organization with Mission43, Guild Education works directly with our members to help them earn a degree from a top-rated online university. We provide a personal advisor to help find a program that is right for each individual. Our goal: help veterans, military, and military spouses finish their degree at top-rated schools.
As the employment pillar partner organization with Mission43, Hire Heroes USA gives military members, veterans and military spouses the resources they need to succeed in their transition to the civilian workforce. In 2017, they assisted over 250 Idaho veterans and spouses in finding employment in careers averaging more than $52,000 per year.
