Idaho K-12 education slips in 2014 Quality Counts

Idaho students have less of a chance to succeed compared to last year, according to the 2014 Quality Counts report released by EdWeek.

The 2014 report did not administer overall grades and rankings.  Instead, Quality Counts assessed Chance for Success, K-12 Achievement and School Finance.  In all three areas, Idaho declined.

The report details state-by-state grades and data in six areas of educational policy and performance. The 2013 report ranked Idaho No. 48 overall.
