The event is at 11:30 a.m., Feb. 3 on the 17thfloor of the Zions Bank Building in Boise. Lunch will be provided and guests will receive one hour of free parking in the adjoined garage. The registration deadline is 5 p.m., Jan. 27. To register, visitTheEDsessions.org.

Busteed’s most recent work focused on the Gallup study, State of America’s Schools: The Path to Winning Again in Education. His career spans a wide range of work as an educational entrepreneur, speaker, writer and university trustee. Busteed integrates Gallup’s research and science on talent selection, strengths, engagement and well being to improve student success, teacher effectiveness and educational outcomes.

His mission is to create a national movement to measure the educational outcomes that matter most, connect education to jobs and job creation and promote a paradigm shift from knowledge mastery to emotional engagement in education.

The general public is also welcome, and can register for the event, but will be asked to pay for lunch.
