J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation Announces $10M in Funding Intended to Help Make the College of Western Idaho a Near-Future Reality

May 31, 2007: Boise, Idaho- J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation, the Boise-based family foundation started in 1966 by Joe and Kathryn Albertson, today announced a donation of $10M to help jump-start the College of Western Idaho in the Treasure Valley.

May 12, 2007: Coeur d'Alene — The pledge of an Idaho family foundation has propelled Coeur d’Alene’s fundraising drive for the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center (RJKCCC) to a total of more than $6,054,000.00. The J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation has pledged a $1,000,000.00 gift, Mayor Sandi Bloem announced.
