Our Strategies

The J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation’s goal is to measurably improve Idaho’s national ranking in college participation and completion. We’re doing this by raising community awareness and offering targeted scholarships.

  • Raising community awareness: At JKAF, we are committed to raising awareness of the importance of postsecondary success and how students can prepare themselves to enter workforce training or college. We do this through public awareness campaigns such as the statewide Go On campaign, which aims to help all Idahoans understand that in order to succeed, all of our students must go on to some sort of workforce training or college.
  • Scholarships: JKAF’s scholarship programs help students afford a postsecondary education. JKAF has awarded millions of dollars to Idaho students from throughout the state for the colleges and universities of their choice. By awarding scholarships, JKAF is helping Idahoans improve college participation and completion — and helping improve the future for Idaho’s citizens.
