Educational Choice
Idaho’s education system offers some school choice options, but fewer than are necessary to meet the state’s growing demand. At JKAF, we believe that school choice — the ability to choose any school that is right for your education — is essential. And the demand is there: More than 7,000 students are on charter school waiting lists.
At the moment, only 12 percent of Idahoans say a regular public school is their top choice for their child’s school. We want to increase access to high-quality educational choices for K-12 and postsecondary students, as measured by enrollment in schools of choice.
