Our Strategies
At JKAF, we want to improve Idaho’s systems and methods of collecting, disseminating, analyzing and reporting relevant educational data and information. One of goals is to see the Idaho Education Network in every school by 2014. The first phase of the IEN will deliver a statewide, high-speed education network to every school, allowing every school unprecedented access to libraries and other schools around the state.
On our own site, we feature information — available to everyone — about the performance of Idaho’s schools and students. We hope that by providing information, Idaho’s students, parents, citizens and policymakers will stay informed and make choices to continuously improve learning in Idaho. Our goal is to make Idaho’s education system more accountable, responsive and efficient.
