The Idaho Education Network (IEN)

The IEN is a network that provides high-speed broadband access for all Idaho students. IEN will help prepare students for work and life in the 21st Century and will also accelerate our teachers’ ability to teach and our students’ ability to learn.

The Foundation has pledged support to this digital resource as part of our Continuous Improvement Initiative.  To date, the Foundation has funded $3 million to this project.

We believe that the IEN is a broadband initiative that has been instrumental in providing Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement courses to all Idaho high school students, especially in rural areas. This is a valuable asset to Idaho’s education system.
